This is the extremely rare and legendary John F. Kennedy ESTERBROOK Bill Signing pen. Fewer than 250 of these are known to exist. Each one was in the Oval Office or West Wing on the November 22, 1963. They were used througout his administration for the signing of all bills. Subsequent to his assasination, President Johnson ordered all pens removed from the Oval Office and destroyed. They have a lucite barrel and the words: "The President - The White House" is on the barrel. The manufacturing company ESTERBROOK went out of business in the late 1960s and all molds etc. for this stye of pen were destroyed. This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to own a genuine museum quality piece of the Kennedy Administration. The pen comes with a copy of the PENWORLD magazine article about it and also a signed and dated and sealed certificate of authenticity from a Presidential Historian. I only offer this item once every few months. The same exact pen is currently offered by a major auction house for $3,500. Don't miss this opportunity to own a real piece of history. NOTE: PEN IS NOT OFFERED WITH BASE BUT THEY ARE AVAILABLE. I only deal in authentic items actually used and given out at the White House, on board Air Force One, at Camp David and other Presidential facilities. I offer a complete satisfaction money back guarantee on all items. . Please read more
