You are bidding on John F. Kennedy Apollo 11 Medal Commemorating Man's first lunar landing. The medal was designed by Karen Worth and issued by the Metallic Art Co of New York City. This medal has an attractive gold patina . The obverse has the busts of the three astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins. The reverse features John F. Kennedy and his words announcing the space project in May 25, 1961. It has a strong strike and great details. The eye appeal is incredible! This medal would make a great gift for the J.F.K collector or just as an investment. All original and very nice.
