This is a 19th century John Howell soda bottle with the blob top design. I am not an expert on bottles, however I came across this one and couldn't pass it up. The color is a lovely shade of blue with a colorful irridescent finish from top to bottom. It was made with thick heavy glass in a two piece mold. The name John Howell is spelled out in large letters around the center with Buffalo N.Y. underneath. John Howell was known for making pop, soda, and mineral water bottles from 1841 to 1888. This bottle is in excellent condition. T are no chips or cracks. One minute flea bite on the bottom. It looks like a very old bottle in remarkably good condition. It measures just over 7" tall. The base is 2 1/2" across. We accept Paypal, moneyorders or personal checks. We pack everything very carefully. We ship immediately after payment is confirmed. I'll be happy to combine shipping to save you money.GOOD LUCK!! MAY THE BEST BIDDER WIN!!!
