JOHN LEE HOOKER MEMORIAL PROGRAM You are bidding on an blues legend John Lee Hooker Sr. original funeral program from his memorial service held on June 27, 2001 at the Oakland Inter-State Auditorium (Mormon Temple) in Oakland, California. John Lee Hooker Sr. passed in his sleep on June 21, 2001 at the age of 83. John Lee Hooker recorded million selling smash hits as "Boogie Chillen", Crawlin' King Snake" and "Sallie Mae". Received a Grammy Award, inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as receiving in 2000 a Lifetime Achievement Award from the national Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. It contains his biography, ceremony index, letters from his children, and dicography. The program is in excellent condition and 100% original.
