Up for bid is a super rare 1974 original promo John Lennon T-shirt for the Walls And Bridges album! I used to collect all official "Listen To This" Walls And Bridges promo items (beware of all the counterfeit items out t!). In all my years of collecting, I have only came across one of these shirts. Certainly one of the rarest items from the campaign. On the front is one of the familiar images of John's eyes used on most of the various promo campaign items. On the back it reads, of course, "Listen to this T-Shirt". On each sleeve, one side reads "Walls" and the other side reads "Bridges". As you can see in the pictures, it is a long sleeve shirt. It is rather small, though it is made of rather stretchy material. I think a tight fit was the intention - nudge, nudge, wink, wink. The label contains no information. Laid flat, the shirt measures 12 inches across. The sleeves measure about 17.5 inches long. The neck is 9 inches at it widest point. The back of the shirt is about two feet from top to bottom. The shirt is in excellent condition. No signs of wear - no rips, holes, frayed edges, stains, loose threads, etc. The printing shows no sign of wear or fading.
