Lindqvist John Ajvide, Let the Right One In, Quercus, London, 2007. First uk edition and first edition in english, first printing with no mention of further printings and full numberline from 10 to 1 on copyright page. Hardcover in dustjacket. Signed by the author on the title page and dated "2/8 2007", reportedly the day of publication. An unread, crisp, very fine copy in a very fine dustjacket. Scarce thus. The book was originally published in swedish in 2004 and the first edition in english had a short print run. Though, it has had a large critical acclaim and is seen as the novel which renewed the vampire genre. Basis for the movie directed by Thomas Alfredson which won numerous awards, including the "Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature" at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and theEuropean Fantastic Film Festivals Federation's 2008 Méliès d'Or for the "Best European Fantastic Feature Film". Notice that this book is on sale also otherwhere, so the auction can be closed before the end.
