John Norman's World of Gor Books 1 thru 17Volumes 1 through 7 are published by Ballantine Books. Front covers illustrated by Boris Vallejo. These are part of the chronicles of counter-earth. This series is also called the Tarl Cabot saga. Volumes 8-17 are published by DAW Books. Cover illustrator for volumes 9, 14 and 15 is Richard Hescox. Cover illustrator for volumes 8, and 10-13 is Gino D'Achille. Illustrator for volume 16 and 17 is Ken Kelly. All paperbacks are in pretty good condition for their age. There is binding creases due to reading but there are no ripped or missing pages in any book. Cover is starting to tear a little (about .5 inch) along the bottom of the binding on Assassin of Gor (#5) but cover is NOT in danger of coming off. The only writing in the books is on the first page, in pencil on the top right corner is 5.00 the price per book that I paid for them and many of the books have a circular impression stamp from a previous owner stating initials JJL and "library of John Zitzelberger". Other than that, the books are read but in good condition for their age. I am having a baby and must convert office into a library so many of my beloved books must go!
