1999 4 1/4" John Primble Sunfish pattern with Imitation Abalone handle material. The photos only come close to showing the depth and beauty of the material. The knife has slight dab of blade and tang rub which is a characteristic of these Sunfish patterns. Some very slight cloth marks on the bolsters. Jim Parker had only 19 of this model of knife made and this is the prototype for them. I purchased most of the prototypes from Jim Parker and they have been in storage ever since. The knife has never been used or sharpened and blade function is great. No rust or pits. Very close to being in Mint condition. Comes in it's original form fitting box. These are well made knives produced in the U.S.A. These knives are quite rare and a Prototype even more so.
