is a wonderful Victorian John R. Wendt Medallion sterling silver oyster ladle c. 1862. The ladle has a Minerva design on the medallion. The detail is crisp and superb. The ladle measures 8 3/8" in length. The ladle weighs 2.4 troy ounces. The ladle has the retail Ball, Black & Co. hallmark, 925, and Patent. The conditon is very good with no damage, dents, or dings. The ladle has a gold wash appeal. T is a monogram "ASM" in bowl. A Beautiful Oyster Ladle!!!! Bid with Confidence. Please see photos.
