Incredibly rare set of 12 empty 1 1/2 oz. John Wagner & Sons (est. 1847, Hatboro, PA) tea tins with wooden 2-shelf rack can either be hung via the wire on the back, or can be freestanding on your countertop. The 12 tins are all different varieties of tea: deep orange Ceylon Breakfast, cornflower blue Assam, brown Lapsang Souchong, red English Breakfast, aqua Darjeeling, deep green Imperial Gunpowder, lighter green Formosa Oolong, black, Keemun, yellow-orange Orange Pekoe, purple Rare Mandarin, gray Earl Grey, and yellow Jasmine. All are in very good shape, as is the wooden rack. A terrific and nostalgic set! I believe this set to be from the 1950s. No damage anyw that I can see except for a nick out of the wood on one of the front corners of the rack, and some residue on the tins and rack that looks like it's from the stamp (tax stamp?) used to seal the tins. Otherwise minor wear and scratches. Rack is 7 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep. Tins are 2 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" square. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS, AND MY STORE, CROSS CREEK MARKET, TOO! NOTE: As of January 4, 2010, the United States Postal Service raised their rates AGAIN. I only add $1.00 to shipping costs to cover my packing materials. The rest is the USPS's fault! I do my very best to accurately describe my items, but if you have any questions, please read more
