I am pleased to present this fabulous set!! Produced in 2002/2003, this is R John Wright's PADDINGTON BEAR Limited Edition #730 PLUS "RAINY DAY" and "GOES TO MARKET" OUTFITS with the same edition number #730. Fully licensed and based on the famous character created by Michael Bond, t is great attention to quality and detail in this beautifully created bear. Standing approximately 15" tall, Paddington is 5-way jointed and constructed of custom-woven alpaca plush. He has glass eyes, a molded leather nose, hand-embroidered features, and individual felt paw pads. Paddington comes wearing his trademark duffel coat w/red lining and a bush hat made of the finest all-wool felt. Included is a custom-made leather suitcase handcrafted to scale. Inside the suitcase is a jar of authentic English marmalade and a 'secret compartment' w Paddington keeps his valuables. Paddington comes to you in a beautiful presentation box with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. RAINY DAY OUTFIT #730 includes a raincoat and hat made of heavy cotton duck fabric, custom made "Wellies" (Wellington boots) and a wonderful, fully handcrafted plaid umbrella made of wood, metal and leather.
