Hunley (Navy second Polaris submarine tender)- Buffalo Forge Company : Says that the USS Enterprise is equipped with Buffalo Fans and Pumps. To be exact, it has 407 ventilating fans and 85 centrifugal pumps. This advertisement does NOT mention asbestos, however we do have the buffalo forge centrifugal pump manual available (for sale separately) which documents the use of asbestos in buffalo pumps.- Johns-Manville : Advertisement for Marinite Bulkheads and Marine Acoustical Units. Mentions asbestos in the advertisement in a general way (see picture below). CONDITION : Acceptable. Covers have wear and stains. T is also a stain visible to the first few pages, at the bottom corner near the spine. This is pictured below. Note Stain:
