Johnson Bros Brothers FRIENDLY VILLAGE 12 Buffet Plates is a beautiful set of 12 large buffet plates l in Johnson Brothers' Friendly Village pattern. Each plate measures about 10.5" in diameter and is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The undersides have a teal colored mailbox backstamp (see photo). Each buffet plate has a different design in the middle, which is carried out on various pieces in the Friendly Village line. These plates depict: the Stone Wall,Sugar Maples, The Well, The Old Mill, The Schoolhouse, The Lily Pond, Autumn Mists, The Hayfield, The Covered Bridge, Willow By the Brook, The Village Street, and the Village Green. I recently acquired some duplicate pieces and am paring down my own huge set!
