Jolana Tajfun bass from 1964, serial number stamped on the neck is 81252. The body finish is Jolana's beautiful rich red used in the 1960s and the finish is remarkably fresh. The maple neck has a rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl dot markers. There are two steel and perloid pickups operated by four switches and one volume knob. There is a metal bridge with adjustable wheels. The pickups are operated by the switches which on one setting are quite full sounding, and on anther give a lovely dry focussed sound perfect for 60s and 70s type melodic bass lines. The action is very good and the neck is straight. All parts of the bass are original and it is in fantastic condition.The slight wear on the back has probably been caused while the bass was sitting in its case. Included are the original case, strap, lead and pick.
