Rare 1950's Jolly Chimp made by Daishin C-K in excellent working condition with the original box!! This chimp is in really nice condition as seen in the pictures! The Chimp bangs the cymbals while the head goes back and forth, press the button on the head and look out here comes the good stuff!! He then screeches while showing his teeth and his eyes pop out!! All functions working well. All fabric on monkey is in great condition with very minimal wear and no fading. There is some very slight wear on the left knee but the other side is fine, but overall the pants look good as seen in the pictures. Colors are very clean and vivid. The yellow vest is in good condition. Cymbals look nice with no wear or tarnishing. Battery compartment is spotless and free of corrosion. This is the older version with the black lever for the on/off switch and also has the the different battery door which is only found on the first editions. Overall, the box also is in OK shape with shelf wear as seen in the pictures and has been repaired from the inside. This is a really nice example of the Jolly Chimp and I know someone will enjoy it!
