Rare Japanese Version 1950's Jolly Chimp made by Bandai in excellent working condition with the original box and green instruction tag! This is the first version of this toy as it has the black on/off lever instead of the on/off switch and also has the metal clasp on the battery door. This Japanese version has different graphics and the green instruction tag is also in Japanese. It also is the same as exact toy as the Daishin C-K Jolly Chimp but Bandai was the company that distributed it in Japan. This chimp is in really nice condition as seen in the pictures! The Chimp bangs the cymbals while the head goes back and forth, press the button on the head and look out here comes the good stuff!! He then screeches while showing his teeth and his eyes pop out!! All functions working well. All fabric on monkey is in great condition with very minimal wear and no fading. There is slight wear on both knees which is a common problem with the Jolly Chimp. The Colors are very clean and vivid. The yellow vest is in good condition. Cymbals look nice with no wear or tarnishing. Battery compartment is spotless and free of corrosion. The box is in good condition and comes with all of the original packaging inserts. The original green tag is not a reproduction tag and still has part of the original rubber band attached to the arm of the chimp. I have read more
