Gentex model HGU-33/p size medium, F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot helmet custom refelctive taped in the famous VF-84 Jolly Rogers colors. The helmet is a Gentex model HGU-33/p and has been decorated in the Jolly Rogers early 1980's livery and is in used but excellent condition. The helmet has had new reflective tape applied, new visor knob .Interior features a leather liner with earcups with earpads, chin and nape straps , and custom painted oxygen mask receivers to match the reflective tapework on the helmet .The graphics are made from quality 3M reflective sheeting just as the Navy squadrons use.This helmet was decorated as a custom tribute to the well known Jolly Rogers F-14 Tomcat Fighter squadron and done in their older yellow and black color theme from the early F-14 era made famous by the movie , The Final Countdown with Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen.The green MBU-12/p oxygen mask is also included and is period correct for this type of helmet making this a great looking set .This would be a great helmet for Warbird flying and civilian avionics can be added for an additional charge.
