ORIGINAL contract signed by Jon Voight for his first-ever paid acting job. great piece of Hollywood and New York Theatre History. It doesn't state this on the contract, but this would be for the Off-Broadway Show O, Oysters which opened in January 1961 and ran for 104 performances. The New York Times review of Jon Voight's performance in O, Oysters proclaimed that the young actor could "neither walk nor talk." Also starred Elly Stone, who would later marry O, Oysters' writer, Eric Blau. Blau was Mickey Mantle's ghost-writer, among others, and later produced the Village Gate's legendary " Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living In Paris " Please see our feedback and bid with great confidence.
