Beautiful Set of 4 Caned Chairs by Kohn Brothers Circa 1915 after a design by Joseph Hoffman Authentic Vienna Moderne Furniture Set of 4 chairs by J and J Kohn, Austria circa 1900 after a model by Josef Hoffmann..These chairs are cataloged as Model 333 on page 16 of the Jacob and Josef Kohn catalog of 1916. This catalog is the principal reference guide for bentwood furniture designed by Austria leading designers , Otto Wagner, Kammerer, Gustave Siegal et al. of this seminal moment in modern furniture design. The wood finish is ORIGINAL and has not been tampered with or given some silly polished patina that is totally foreign to the aesthetic of these pieces. One seat has most unfortunately been ripped. This can be repaired to match perfectly in Los Angeles for less than $100.00. Address of repair shop on request. This Merchandise can be seen by appointment at my storage facility in Santa Monica.
