"Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday"

These beautiful little girls are rare and hard to find. When my daughter got these about 4 years ago we had never seen them before and I can't recall ever seeing them again on ebay or any other site. Now that I have said that maybe they will surface. They are so adorable, almost identical. At 3 1/2" tall they are sitting on little pedestals with their yellow straw hats behind them. Merry Christmas has a white dress and Happy Birthday is wearing pink. Their ruffled bloomers and little gold shoes are dangling in front of them. The pink one has a rose & gold on her dress and the white one has a rose & gold on her pedestal. They both have a tiny rosebud and gold in the hair. Each is holding a card with gold accents. The flower on the white dolls card doesn't have as much gold and t is less gold on her hair so she was made this way, the gold is not chipped away. The labels are in good condition with a little surface wear or scratches but the writing is very clear. Merry Christmas has both her Josef Originals and name label. Happy Birthday has her name label only. Josef Originals and the #235 is etched on the bottom of both. I don't know what the # means. These girls are in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. T is light crazing which is typical of the older figurines. I know they are small & pricey but my daughter at least wants near to what she has invested in them. They would be great to add to you collection!! Check out my other beautiful Josefs and save.
