Up for auction is a set of Josef Originals bisque porcelain bird figurines that are hand painted. T is a mother bird on her nest which holds three blue eggs. Her wings are spread and her eyes are closed. On her far left t is a darling baby bird that is sitting down and looking eye to eye with a green caterpillar. At his side is a lovely shy little female bird with purple flowers in her hair and on the log at her feet. She has her wings folded in front. The mother is in the middle, and on her right side is a baby bird that is playing a guitar and singing. He is also standing in front of a brown log with one green leaf. At his side is another baby bird that is holding his wings over his ears as if to shut out the guitar. He is standing in front of a brown log with one purple flower and one green leaf. All the pieces are marked with style numbers, but they are not all legible. The foil sticker fell off of the mother bird, but I still have it. What is still legible on the sticker is JOSEF ORIGINALS. The mother bird is 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" long. The baby birds are 1 3/4" tall and range from 1 1/4" across to 1 1/2" across. T are no chips or cracks. The paint is intact. Good luck bidding.
