UP FOR YOUR BIDDING CONSIDERATION IS A CAMELIO "SUNFLOWER" TAFOYA seedpot, FATHER OF JOSEPH LONEWOLF, GRANDFATHER OF GREGORY LONEWOLF, 1 3/8 " (height) 1 7/16" (width) SEED POT ORIGINAL SIGNED AND VERY HARD TO FIND . This is truly a amazing miniature sgraffito Seed Pot, I love this piece, it has been in my miniature collection for quite some time, and I truly hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it as much as I have. Camelio "SUNFLOWER" TAFOYA (1902-1995) elevated the ancient technique of incised pottery to an art form and Started the tradition in Santa Clara pottery, creating fragile cameo-like pieces that writers and critics called pottery jewels. These tiny masterpieces often tell a story. This piece is in excellent condition with NO damage or repairs done. Guaranteed to be 100% authentic as stated in my auction. Beautiful detail that one would expect from a Lonewolf. Highly collectable and beautiful piece!! Sadly, Camelio Tafoya passed away in 1995 and his work is almost impossible to find. This piece of pottery is in perfect condition!!
