Old vintage Joseph Rodgers & Sons carbon steel kitchen knife made in Sheffield, England. Blade measures just under 6" and overall length is just under 10". Blade is marked with a Crown with a G and an R on either side of it, as well as Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Cutlers To His Majesty, and Sheffield England with a star and a cross (see last picture below). The handle is wood and brass there is a copper rivet through the brass and two steel rivets through the wood. It is tight and sturdy. Full tang construction. The knife has been used and sharpened, but the blade is still very full and has lots of life left in it. Wood handle has a few minor nicks and edge wear (minor).
