This is a very nice 19th century ink eraser marked "ROGERS CUTLERS TO HIS MAJESTY SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" on the steel blade, and "JOESEPH ROGERS & SONS SHEFFIELD" on the case. This is a beautiful hard to find double edges steel blade ink eraser with a very nice rosewood handle. The eraser is 6.5" long overall, and the black cover is 3" long. The eraser is in very good condition with nicely polished steel blade, the rosewood is very near mint condition. The case is in good solid condition with some minor edge wear. A hard to find 19th century desk top tool!
