Joseph Tomanek oil painting on canvas titled, `Aurora the Dawn.` Joseph Tomanek (American 1879-1974) was a Chicago artist best known for his nudes posed in lush forest or marine settings. Old label on verso from, Chicago Galleries Association. Signed J. Tomanek lower left. Provenance: From a local Dallas estate, the collection was acquired from the 1930`s to the 1950`s. Site: 16`H x 12`W; Frame: 22.25`H x 18.25`W. Circa - First half 20th C.
