You are bidding on Journey Into Mystery #62 (Nov 1960). The comic is complete, intact, and stapled, although the cover is starting to come loose. The color and shine are remarkably nice considering the comic's age. The comic shows mostly lightly heavy wear, with the worst being a 1" split at the top of the spine and a 1/2" piece missing at the bottom (spine edge to back cover), moderately heavy wear along the top edge (caused by looseness of staples), and several tears on the back cover (the longest being 5/8"). In addition, t are numerous pressure and fold creases across the cover, the worst being at the lower outside corner, which has a slight curl and a rounded corner. The interior pages are in good shape, although a few missing corner tips are noted. This 48 year old comic book still has a great deal of eye appeal and will look good in your collection. This issue features three stories. The first (drawn by Jack Kirby) is considered to be a prototype story because it features the 1st appearance of Xemnu who is called "The Hulk." The second story is by an uncredited artist and the third is a Steve Ditko tale of the supernatural.
