This NO RESERVE 7 day auction is for a VERY RARE IN GRADE, EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND, 100% UNRESTORED Silver Age Marvel GRAIL ......... Journey into Mystery #83! Extremely desirable already, the added hype of the upcoming Thor movie, presently in production, has this shining star of the comic world headed for previously unseen blinding brightness!! Check with every auction house and every dealer in the Country...... you WILL NOT FIND this book in this condition being offered for sale. The few comparable copies in existence are most likely buried deep in permanent collections, as the owners of those few other copies know what this book is, and its potential. This auction will most likely set a new record price for this book in this book! Estimated Auction Value: $13,500 - $15,000+ CGC Certified 7.5 VF- Unrestored with WHITE PAGES!!!! An extremely rare combination of UNRESTORED INVESTMENT GRADE condition with UNIMPROVABLE PQ! This original owner book has only very minimal condition flaws.........faint crease - lower right front cover corner, some very minor tears/bends at the top - overhang, (t are no chips at the top of the cover - a few small areas of the overhang are "bent in" towards the center of the book) and extremely minor spine stress. No wiriting on the cover or interior pages, no date stamps / distributor marks, and ABSOLUTELY ZERO CHIPPING! The cover is firmly attached at both shiny, rust free staples, and the book lies flat and has great alignment -- which is no suprise because it has been professionally pressed by Matt Nelson. The spine is solid and tight, wtih no splits. The cover inks are deep, rich, and unfaded . Both covers are clean ( not "cleaned" ....clean ). The comic overall has great structure and was obviously stored / handled very carefully over the past 4 decades. The interior pages are SWEET SMELLING, NEWSSTAND FRESH and BONE WHITE !!! They are so non-acidic, they smell like they were printed this month! Pics of the Splash page, front cover and back cover have been included of the book prior to grading, to help you see just how nice this copy really is. Expect very high interest and aggressive sniped bidding -- this is your chance for one of the best books in the entire hobby !! PayPal / check / money order.
