THANK YOUFrom 1997-2007 Joe Curtis owned and operated "Fremont Racing Specialties" in Northern California. Joe helped fill a void for "nostalgia" drag race modelers with a line of top notch decals, resin bodies and parts. Being a long established and respected artist, mural and sign painter Joe turned his creative talents toward his true love of drag racing by recreating the lettering in scale for many of the cars he saw on his many trips to Fremont Drag Strip. All of Joe's decals were printed on an ALPS printer using his original hand drawn artwork. He also reproduced many of the harder to find kit bodies and created several resin bodies and parts of previously unavailable styles, in some cases "mastering" these himself or in conjunction with some of the best known drag race modelers. When Joe hit the model and drag race events he came "armed" with an impressive professional display of nicely packaged merchandise and his eye catching array of colorful built "display" models, many of which I will be offering in the coming weeks.
