For sale is an incredibly rare three-volume first edition set of the famous 'Lord of The Rings' trilogy, by JRR Tolkien. Published by George Allen and Unwin, London, 1961. 10th impression; 6th impression; 8th impression. The map present to the rear of each book - these are in excellent, bright order. The unclipped dust jackets are somewhat toned to the spine, and with small nicks to the extremities. They are intact and very firm. The red cloth very bright indeed. Internally with only a few trivial spots - they remain very clean. A short inscription to the FFEP of volume 2. Housed within its original slipcase - this is very seldom seen.
