Collection of 27 old photo-lithograph postcards of scenes in Jewish Colonies and related Middle Eastern subjects published by Kunstanstalt Max Jaffe and Verlag "Juedische Zeitung"
Dimensions: Each card is approximately 6 and one half by 7 and 3/4 inches. the impressed image and caption area is just over 4 by 5 inches. The reverse of each card is blank.
Max Jaffe was an accomplished lithographer in Vienna (Wien) who published images for books and cards on a variety of subjects. The cards collected represent a selection of sites and some views of colonies and workshops, as well as various scenes of life in Palestine in the early 20th century.
Condition: Generally, quite good, with some cards a bit toned and a very few with some finger soiling or very slight foxing in the margins.
