He is an American Hero who has served 20+ plus years in the US Army. He served in both the 82nd & the 101st Airborne. He was also a Drill Sergant at Fort Benning. Charles has written two interesting books on his love of pipes. Charles takes a very interesting aproach to his carvings, he takes a block of plateau briar and lets the block dictate the shape it will take. His pipes use high quality briar and are superb dry smoking pipes.
