Jugendstil Beer Stein Marzi&Remy Blue Dots c.1905 0.5L Description: This beautiful stein was made by Marzi and Remy around 1905. The design seems quite obvious right now but at the time it was a revolutionary concept. The Jugendstil beer stein of Marzi and Remy were often design by prominent and famous Jugendstil designers and art professors like Albin Mueller, Bruno Mauder, Richard Riemerschmid, Karl Goerig, etc. The simplicity of decorations and its geometrical pattern were part of a new artistic ideology of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil. The stein is 6" tall, 0.5L capacity. Body in excellent flawless condition, the hinge of the lid is broken.Please note - I have 2 more steins of this design of different sizes variations.
