New York Herald July 1 - September 30, 1866 Description This auction is for one bound newspaper , the New York Herald, from July-Sep, 1866. The big news of the time seems to be the reconstruction, the Austro-Prussian War, and the Third Italian Independence War. Condition The newspaper is of course printed on Hi-Rag paper, so the condition is fairly good. Some pages are a bit smeared (as a result of printing), and of course t are a few small tears and t, possibly even a couple larger ones. A few pages (1-5) have been repaired sometime in the past. Nice looking paper. Shipping This paper weighs about 14 lbs and can be shipped via Media Mail (USPS) within the United States. I'm happy to ship this item internationally as well, but I will not be able to secure as cheap of rate. Please use the shipping calculator to determine cost to ship this item to your area. Multiple items can be combined for a slight discount, but the overall cost will still be determined by weight. Items typically ship within 2-3 business days (often even faster), but can sometimes take a little longer because I only make it to the post office a couple times a week. I will mark the item as shipped on eBay once it is mailed out. Let me know if you plan on bidding on additional items would like me to wait and combine shipping. I often go ahead and do this anyway
