You are bidding on a Julius Vesz pipe. This is his signature "RAINDROP" shape. It is a very high grade pipe - his "Circle A" grade! The retail of this pipe is $1,000.
Mr. Vesz is a Canadian pipe maker well known for his dead root briar. His pipes are known for their cool, dry smoking qualities and are sought after by collectors world wide. This pipe has some very unique and desirable qualities. The stem is made from fossilized pine sap! You read that correctly! He is the only pipe maker to ever have this material and the supply is all gone now! It does not lose its shine or tarnish. It is not as hard as Lucite. It reminds me a bit of amber but this is more beautiful! The silver on the shank is antique silver - solid, NOT plated! It has a wonderful feel in either hand! A pipe cleaner will pass to the chamber without removing the stem. The pipe was made in 2001. What an important year in history. The pipe has stamped on the shank: Julius Vesz Hand Cut Canada 2001 and the circle "A" The dimensions are as follows: This a somewhat small pipe made to easily hang from the mouth. The weight is a mere 2.05 ounces or 58 grams. The overall length is 5 1/8 inches. The bowl height is 1 7/8 inches. The tobacco chamber is 3/4 inch in diameter and 1 3/8 inches in depth. The bowl width is 1 3/4 inches. This pipe could easily pass as unsmoked but I did smoke it once. You would never know it. There are no scratches, dings, teeth marks, cracks or ANY defect with this pipe! It is in perfect shape and awaits its new owner. There may be bits of dust or a fingerprint on the pictures. It comes with the original sock. The pipe has been cleaned and sanitized. If you are not satisfied with this pipe in any way, please contact me within 3 days of receipt for a full refund with the exception of the shipping fee. I am NOT satisfied unless you are! Please look at my selling history. I accept PayPal and expect payment within 36 hours of the winning bid. Please feel free to email me with any questions that you may have. Thank you for looking and
