***Jumbo Seriphos Prasem Quartz*** ((( Astounding!!! Huge Crystal!!! ))) ~~ Hedenbergite Included ~~ Avessalos -Seriphos Island " Greece " 2-1/2" inches tall x 7/8" x 7/8" inches wide 6.5 cm. x 2.3 cm. x 2.3 cm. 33.5 Grams This jumbo crystal has a thick dark green core with a thin light green outer casing that only partially covers the inner core. Possibly due to some sort of growth interference, or maybe it was collected before it finished forming? Either way the crystal is in pristine condition, totally natural and unbroken, this is simply how it grew, and how it did grow! This huge uniquely formed specimen must be among the widest heaviest single crystals ever found. At 2-1/2" inches it's in a fairly tall range for Seriphos prasem, but at almost an inch wide both ways, it's width and 33 plus gram weight is in the overly large and extremely rare size category. The longest and heaviest single crystal I've ever seen was 9.2 cm. and weighed 30 grams, and this is one I'll probably wish I had kept, but I can only keep so many.
