This custom machined metal replica was manufactured using the original hero-prop as reference. It is considered by knowledgeable collectors to be the last word on this prop. If you've spent any time at all looking for one of these then you already know what a difficult piece it can be to find due to the extremely low numbers that were produced. No finer example of this piece has ever been offered. This piece should not be confused with the inferior hobby-builds offered elsewhere;this isn't someone's best guess. This museum quality replica features a fully functional, spring loaded cryorack that 'pops' open when the bottom portion of the rack is turned. The cryo-rack can then be reseated with a twist and a push. Operation is identical to the original! In fact, everything on this piece from the proper centrifuge tubes to the correct colored (rust) o-ring compliments this piece. This piece also features the screen accurate 'flat' bottom with proper machine bolt positioning. If you want the most accurate version of the cryo that's ever been offered then this is for you.
