Antique Berry Set-A.Kach Artist

Porcelain by Jaeger and Co. Louise

Bavaria circa 1900

This is a beautiful set with hand-painted green and purple grapes, with leaves that gradually blend into a deep, rich background of dark olive. "The depth and artistry of the painting on this bowl is truly outstanding!"

None of the bowls are alike as they were all individually hand painted. They have a scalloped edge with a gold trim although all of the bowls have some wear to the gold trim, some more than others. These are each artist signed by A. Kach. "Made by Jaeger & Co between 1898 and 1902 in Marktredwitz Bavaria."

The serving bowl measures 9 3/4" across and 2 1/2" deep. The 6 individual bowls are 5 3/4" across. They are all in excellent condition overall, with no cracks, chips or crazing.
