You are bidding on a rare piece of Hoffman ceramic pottery that was made for the Kahiki restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. It is shaped like a coconut and could have been used as a sugar bowl or for condiments. It stands 5 1/2" inches high with the lid on and is approximately 3 1/2" from front to back. The glaze has a smooth satin finish and the letters that spell out "Kahiki" are raised. It is glazed inside and the bottom is stamped "Ceramics by Hoffman" . Excellent condition.
