is a nice piece of Arts and Crafts era sterling from one of the top makers of hand wrought work--a juvenile mug with a repousse rabbit for decoration. According to the references, repousse work is fairly scarce and of more interest. Made by Kalo while they operated a studio in New York--a relatively short lived mark dating to the period of 1912-1916.

Size is about 3" in diameter, 4" with the handle, and 2" high. Weight is about 105 grams. Although the condition is used, it is better than most children's silver I have handled--t are minor dents mostly on the bottom edge, dents w the handle is attached, polishing marks and a few spots of tarnish to polish. Generally not distracting, but charming and quite displayable. But if you wish, t is nothing that a good jeweller can't remove.

SHIPPING ISSUES: I use the US Post Office for all small items and FedEx for large ones. I pack well and have NO LOSSES TO DATE. However, you are paying for insurance, so should an item arrive damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim. You must save and present the item and all original packaging for inspection. In the case of a "lost" item, 30 days must elapse before the item is considered lost. You must certify you have not received the item and then be reimbursed by the Post Office.
