(Kansas) Edmund Ross (1826-1907), US Senator EDMUND G ROSS (1826-1907), U.S. Senator (1865-66, 1867-71) from Kansas, whose single vote prevented the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson. Signature, as U.S. Senator, on portion of an album sheet. Signature originally came from an extensive autograph album, containing over 300 signatures from the administration of President Ulysses S. Grant. Several of the entries added dates, all of which were in 1871. The original album came with a PSA/DNA certificate. Very good condition. [B-1069-A].
