Karl Greisbaum Automaton of Singing Bird Music Box Karl Griesbaum Automaton of singing bird in gilded cage. This singing bird works perfectly. It opens and shuts its beak, turns its head side to side, and flips its tail while it sings a beautiful song. Everything is original, nothing restored. The feathers of the bird are a yellow body and black wings and tail and it has a black beak. The floor of the cage is a subdued green velvet. It has a vine with red berries and a small red mushroom The base of the cage has some sports w the gilding is damaged. In the photos those spots are depicted. The cage stands 11. 5 " high with a diameter of 6.5" The bottom has the Karl Griesbaum mark of the the letters K G and a bird with mountain peaks under it. It also i marked KEND and " Made in Germany". These sell for over $2,000.00 on web sites that specialize in these automatons. We do provide tracking numbers with all purchases. Please email us if you need different shipping arrangements. We do allow for personal pick up of certain items. Our shipping price includes the full amount of insurance, which is the final winning bid amount. International Shipping We ship items international but please email us for rates before bidding because some items are very expensive to ship due to weight, size, and double boxing that might be required. We ship items to foreign countries thru USPS Priority Mail(Post Office), Fedex International and sometimes UPS international. We only ship to a verified PayPal listed address. We have to insure all packages for the final selling price so the buyer will be responsible for all taxes or duties entering their country. Sometimes packages that are shipped thru the post office can take longer then expected to get t, we are not responsible for this extra time at customs, so please be patient. Items shipped thru the post office can only be insured for up to $500, if you want more insurance it will have to be shipped thru FEDEX.
