This signed skinning knife, with leather sheath, was hand forged by blacksmith Karl Schroen , who still is active in the Northern California area. See other examples of his 'made from scratch' knives at: /~schroen/ This knife was part of an extensive private collection and is unused and unsharpened. It was stored in the custom fitted leather sheath (stamped "KS") and needs some buffing to bring it back to its original looks. T is no pitting on this blade. As shown in photo, t is a minor crack in the horn handle that would not affect this knife's performance in the field. ~ 4" signed "Schroen" blade ~ 3 3/4" Stag horn handle - contoured to a perfect hand grip ~ 8" overall length ~ Completely hand forged/crafted in the USA As usual : ~ Knife in photos is knife being offered ~ NO international sales or shipping - USA only. ~ NO sales to anyone under 18 years of age. ~ PayPal only ~ Priority Shipping & Handling $9.00 - if winning bid over $200, free insurance included All sales are final unless item is not as described in a significant way.
