You are bidding on a brand new, test run only Kato RSC-2 in the as delivered orange and gray Milwaukee Road paint scheme. (The model in the picture is for illustrative purposes and may have a different number.) These workhorses plied the rails from the late 40's and early 50's until the 70's and 80's, and for most of their lives, the were used in secondary mainline and branchline service particularly on the Wisconsin Valley Line. These are exceptionally smooth runners, well detailed right out of the box, and feature typical Kato quality. Run them as is or add some detailing parts to more closely match a specific prototype – either way they would make a great addition to your upper-Midwest roster.
