Vintage Katzhutte Art Deco Clown Girl This most unusual Katzhutte Art Deco figurine is dressed as a female clown or Pierrette, in a fantastic costume of tiered coat dress with massive collar and huge buttons and large stylised bows protruding from her waist, with a cloche style hat over her bobbed blonde hair. Superbly detailed overall - note the appearance of texture in her collar / necklace, and the pensive expression on her beautifully painted face. The colours are classic Art Deco - deep magenta pink contrasting with a variety of muted pastels. Unmarked but there is an example of this figurine on a well known Art Deco website listed as Katzhutte. This is the only other one I have seen. She stands 6.5" tall, 3.5" widest and 2" deep. Superb condition with some minor wear to the base- a charming, and quite unusual object.
