There don't seem to be many of these around any longer. Get this rare street art book now. Michelin, the Simpsons, Mickey, Astroboy and Miffy all fall victim to KAWS in C10, the third publication from the Brooklyn based artist. Most well known for his appropriation and intervention of material from the advertising world in the early 1990’s, KAWS has selected characters from toy, cartoon and comic book culture for his most recent body of work. Each page is a painting whose subject matter has been cleverly reworked with variations of his hallmark skull and crossbones. I bought this book new. If I remember correctly it was plastic wrapped in thin cellophane, long gone. The books shows some very light shelf ware from being slid on and off the shelf between other books. There is a very slight bump to the top right corner of the cover as seen in the pictures. The edges of the pages have yellowed slightly.
