AFGHAN ANGEL DOG IS IN A RECLINING POSITION ~ He is about 2" tall and about 3" long. The dog in this picture is not signed by Kay Finch. However, it is indicative of her work, and for the Kay Finch collector, I know they will see it is her work, and remember it from publications. The dog is white, with black line accents. He has blue and gold in his tail. T is some crazing of this item. I cannot find any chips or breaks in this figure. Accompanying this figurine in the close of the auction is a signed picture from 1971 of Kay's Afghan's C.C. Indhian Chief and C.C. Indhi-To-Kay. The dogs are identified in writing on the bottom of the "Ludwig" Photograph. The Autograph reads, "With Love to Lois and Harry From Kay and the kids. July 1971" (For personal notation - Lois and Harry were my father's Godparents, Kay and Lois were dear friends and Lois trained and showed dogs for Kay. Kay was a Canine Judge).
