This beautiful vintage cat is by Kay Finch California from the 1940s or 50s. Her name is Mehitable and she can be seen on page 56 in the book "Kay Finch Ceramics, Her Enchanted World" by Mike Nickel & Cindy Horvath. She was valued at $500 (11 years ago). She is in beautiful condition with only a small glaze fleck on the back side tip of one ear and a pinpoint glaze fleck on the other ear tip. They are not seen from the front. She has some crazing. She is done in the famous Kay Finch colors of blue, purple, dark pink and white on a light pink body with the trademark black curlies for accents. She is 8 1/2 inches tall. Inscribed K.
