Beautiful Kay Finch Art "Pekingese Dog" Offered for sale is an outstanding example of Kay Finch's creative art work. Her artistic talent shines in this whimsical ceramic creation of her darling vintage Pekingese Dog , dressed in dramatic pink, rose, black and cream with lots of majestic attitude . Kay Finch set the standard for excellents in the gorgeous painted ceramics coming out of California in the 1940's and 1950's. This RARE piece is signed with the imprint Kay Finch, Calif. on the bottom (see photo). This wonderful Dog is listed on page 44 of the book ~ Kay Finch Ceramics, Her Enchanted World, by Mike Nickel and Cindy Horvath. He is model # 154. The figurine is included in Kay Finch's "Canine World" section, and is a beautiful blend of her humorous side and her extremely creative side. This darling Dog is one of her larger fellows nearly 14" long. The Pekingese comes with numerous decorative hand painted touches ~ right down to his detailed toes. This beautiful vintage piece has had Minor professional restoration to glaze chips and has been restored to perfection!! Shipping will be by Insured , Parcel Post.
