A very nice and scarce vintage plane made for Keen-Kutter by Ohio Tool Co. It has a tapered blade (see photo) typical of Ohio Tool planes. The throat is manufactured wider than Stanley planes in order to accomodate the thick cutting edge of the tapered blade. It has a still readable early Keen-Kutter logo on the blade (see-photo) At the front base of the knob, t is a casting mark, "KK-4" on the body. T are no cracks or repairs on the body. At worst, t is one very tiny nick on both sides at the base of the body. (see photo) The body dimension is 2 3/8" x 9 3/8". The rosewood low knob and handle are in fine shape with a similar shape handle as the Ohio Tool planes. Avery nice collector plane with the proper parts not seen very often. Happy bidding.
