Kempe’s Engineer’s Yearbook for 1920. 27th Edition. Over two and a half thousand pages. This is well used example of this invaluable reference book. Good for its age. Gives a fascinating glimpse into the world of engineering just after the First World War. Ideal for engineering students as the principles will have remained the same. As far as I can see all pages are present. Lots if adverts in for various companies. Would make good prints if removed from book.(some peolpe do this I am told) 19cm x 12cm x 10cm (height x width x depth) and weighs in at just under 2 kilograms. Important please read. NB Due to misunderstandings recently, note that I will only correspond in English. I am not fluent in any other language and do not trust online translators. If there is a problem with any purchase please email through EBay to discuss it after the auction. I am always open to talk. I try and describe the items I am selling as best as I can. Please remember the descriptions are my words, if I have failed to mention a spot, mark, blemish or damage it is because I have missed it and am not trying to hide anything. Also remember that all items are sold as used and unless described as mint will usually have some signs of use. All photographs are of the actual items unless otherwise stated. Note items will not be sent with batteries installed. I have had good feedback so far, buying and selling. I do not try and make any money from postage and packing (not like some). I try and reuse packaging where possible as it cuts down on expense and helps save the environment. I will try and post any items won as soon as possible after payment is received but sometimes there may be delay of a day or two. I try also to list various costs for posting, now that Royal Mail seems determined to price themselves out of the market. The buyer can choose which way they want it sent. I estimate the cost of postage at the time of listing. Sometimes I get it wrong and wildly overestimate the cost. In those cases I will normally issue a refund through PayPal. In other cases I undercharge, in those cases I suffer the loss.Please note that due to new mail rules restricting sending batteries through the post, especially abroad, all items will have batteries removed before posting.. I will combine postage if more than one item bought. Do not pay until you receive an adjusted bill from me. I obtain proof of posting of all items. If items bought are of high value then I recommend getting the package insured as I cannot be held responsible if it goes missing. At a minimum I recommend Signed For. is only an extra £1.10p on top of first class mail. Please contact me if unsure of postage costs. If purchasing from abroad please be aware that the cost of posting heavier items can be prohibitive by airmail. If in any doubt of the cost please email and I will try and get back to you within 24 hours. If you wish to have a tracking number (recommended) please be prepared to pay the extra that it costs, currently about £5.50 or for enhanced compensation £7.60. Please do not leave questions about an item until the last 24 hours as I cannot guarantee being able to answer it in time. I do not use the Buy Now process so please do not ask if I will end the Auction early. I only sell on EBay so an item will not be advertised elsewhere. NB Non-paying high bidders will be reported to EBay and will have negative feedback left, whatever their tale of woe that they cannot complete the deal. Please note I will not refund/replace computer software/cd’s/dvd’s etc unless proven faulty. I use Paypal and I pay the fees.
